PHH Hoops Education Basketball Camps:
This is the 27th year of Hoops Education Camps that Coach A has run in multiple states and has been rated Top 100 Things to Do in Chicago in the Summer. These camps are led by some of Play Hard Hoops' best coaches including Coach A. Hoops Education camps are for entering 2nd-7th grade players but advanced 1st graders are invited to attend. The camps themselves focus on skill development, team activity and game play! These camps excel in teaching the fundamentals of the game in an encouraging environment so players of all abilities can learn, improve and have fun!
PHH Girls Only Camps:
PHH Girls Camps are led by Play Hard Hoops' Girls Director Madeleine McTague. With skill development, game play, and a high focus on developing and improving fundamentals, these camps are great for all of our girl hoopers!
2026 will be our first summer introducing our Advanced girls camp for girls 6th-10th grade!
PHH Warriors Training Camps:
PHH Warriors Advanced Camps are designed to focus on skills and scrimmages. Led by PHH Travel Coaches, Warriors players entering 4th-6th grade (advanced entering 3nd grade players are invited) will be put through high-level drills and compete in scrimmages against other Warriors players at their age/skill level.
Advanced Warriors Training Camps with Coach PHH Warriors Coaches:
Join us this summer as Play Hard Hoops continues its' advanced Warriors Training Camps. Our Advanced Camps are run by Warriors travel coaches with many years of coaching travel basketball in the Chicagoland Area. Campers will do advanced skill work and play competitive scrimmages against other travel players!
Campers entering 6th-9th Grade will receive top-notch instruction and feedback from one of the game's most knowledgeable personalities, all while having a blast on the court!
Summer 2026 will mark the 28th season of Play Hard Hoops Education Summer Basketball Camps! PHH has consistently worked with over 1000 kids now for five summers on the court. Our general basketball camps are run every week combining fundamental instruction, skill-based contests and game play, where we can teach the fundamentals of the game in an encouraging environment. PHH Summer camps offer an incredible opportunity where kids entering 2nd - 7th grade can learn, have fun and improve. Additionally, PHH Camps will always teach the life lessons we believe are so well learned in our camp environment - led by our words of the day: passion, teamwork, attitude, character and gratitude. We will be running over 50 camps in at least 8 locations in Chicagoland, as well as camps just across state lines at the Milwaukee JCC and Keva Center Madison, WI.

Play Hard Hoops feels privileged to be in the position of educating young people through the greatest game in the world-basketball. The goal is for each player to have a great time regardless of age or ability and to foster an encouraging environment where players are excited to learn and improve each day.
Play Hard Hoops camps consist of skill and fundamental work on dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and offensive footwork. Play Hard camps will also teach team offensive and defensive concepts, so that players improve their fundamental skill, knowledge of the game, and understanding of how to become a better basketball player individually and as a team.
