Summer 2024 will be the 26th season of Play Hard Hoops Education Summer Basketball Camps where PHH has been working with close to 1500 kids the last 2 summers. We will have our usual programming combining fundamental instruction, skill based contests and game play where we can teach the fundamentals of the game in an encouraging environment where kids entering 1st through our high school hoopers grade will learn specific improvement progressions on their skillset, have fun, and compete in various small-sided to 5 on 5 game setting.
PHH Camps will also always teach the life lessons we believe are so well learned in our camp environment - led by our words of the day: passion, teamwork, attitude, character and gratitude. We will be running over 15 camps in at least 4 locations in Chicago with a plan to also return for camps at JCC Milwaukee and Keva Center Madison WI.
Play Hard Hoops Philosophy: Dedicated to teaching the game of basketball while stressing sportsmanship, teamwork, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude on and off the court. Play Hard Hoops feels privileged to be in the position of educating young people through the greatest game in the world-basketball. The goal is for each player to have a great time regardless of age or ability and to foster an encouraging environment where players are excited to learn and improve each day.
Play Hard Hoops camps consist of skill and fundamental work on dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and offensive footwork. Play Hard camps will also teach team offensive and defensive concepts, so that players improve their fundamental skill, knowledge of the game, and understanding of how to become a better basketball player individually and as a team.
PHH City Camps
The coaching staff will consist of several former college and professional basketball players that are current high school and elite travel programs heads.
We are running a variety of summer options for families with AM, PM, and Full Day Available starting week of June 10 through final camp session of August 12-16. Locations will span much of Chicago and can be reviewed below for each week -

Each Camp Session Workout Broken Out by Grade Level: 3rd/4th, 5th/6th, 7th/8th (1st/2nd camp week of June 24-28). High school will be 9th/10th and 11th/12th.
AM or PM Half Day Cost: $315 ($30 Early Bird Discount Through March 20 - $280 Total)
Full Day Discount Cost: $575 AM and PM Combined ($25 Early Bird Discount Through March 20 - $550 Total)
