15TH ANNUAL Season BEGINS December 7th - NOW @ WOLCOTT college prep, 1950 W Hubbard Street!

The PHH Winter League has been the top weekly in-house basketball program in Chicago over the past decade, and we can't wait to hold this winter season at the beautiful Wolcott College Prep multi-court gymnasium in the West Town neighborhood. Our 11-week season opens up with skills+evaluations dates to finish 2025 before we head into preseason action and team placement in January 2026. We'll then conduct our standard regular season+playoff format for all divisions from 2nd to 8th grade.

SEASON OUTLINE

• Evaluation Period December 7th, 14th and January 4th: Focus on skills and small-sided scrimmages (1-on-1 to 3-on-3 play) for team placements
• January 11th preseason game to allow any final roster revisions for balanced teams across the divisions
• Regular Season will begin for 4 weeks of games before playoffs
• Championship Day on March 8th

DIVISION DETAILS

• All League divisions from 2nd to 8th grade will have a 25-minute skills and game concepts warmup. Games consist of two 20-minute halves, with PHH coaches providing guidance and instruction
• K-1st Co-ed Grade and Girls 2nd-3rd Grade Divisions will gradually build into competitive 4 on 4 and 5 on 5 gameplay later in season

WINTER LEAGUE HISTORY
The City Winter League had over 200 players in 2024-2025. PHH Winter League has seen many top city boys and girls players participate since its founding in 2009.

WINTER LEAGUE DETAILS

-Play Minimum 8 Games

K-1st Grade Coed Developmental: 1130 AM-1240 PM

Girls 2nd-3rd Grade Developmental: 1130 AM-1240 PM

2nd-3rd Grade Boys League: 12:45-2:00 PM, 2:05-3:20 and 3:25-4:40 PM

December 7, 14 and January 4 will all be at 12:45-2:15 and 220-350PM for this division (2nd-3rd)

4th-5th Grade Boys League: 3:25-4:40PM and 4:45-6:00 PM

December 7, 14 and January 4 will all be at 3:55-5:25 for this division (4th-5th)

6th-8th Grade Boys League: 6:05-7:30 PM

December 7, 14 and January 4 will all be at 5:30-700 PM for this division (6th-8th)

*All League Participants will purchase the new $25 reversible gray/white Play Hard jersey that is utilized during gameplay and in future seasons through 2028
