2025-26 Winter League Format/Details at Ela Sports Center

The Play Hard Hoops 2025-26 Winter League will continue to be the best basketball league in Chicago. Individuals are placed into balanced teams across each division for a full league season that includes an action-packed regular season, followed by league playoffs. Early sessions will be skills focused with an evaluation period to place players within their teams**.

1st-7th grade leagues will have a 20-25 minute skills and game concepts portion to further enhance our players' development and understanding of the game. This will be followed by A 40 Minute game led by our PHH coaches assigned to teach+direct gameplay for the teams.  K-1st grade developmental league will have a similar format to the 1st-7th grade game leagues with a practice then game directed by PHH coaches. However, there will not be a season standings or playoffs as players will be placed into teams based on attendance each week with a focus on development of learning fundamentals, game concepts and ultimately playing within the rules of basketball. There is no place better than PHH for instruction at developmental age levels!

-Games begin after a 3 week evaluation period with a preseason game and then a full game season with playoffs to determine a league champion.
