Testimonial Best Describes Play Hard Hoops Basketball Camp Written June 29th, 2016:  Thanks for an incredible week of basketball last week. My daughter as you know came away after day one overwhelmed and in tears. But by that evening was determined to give it another shot the next day. When I picked her up Tuesday it was a complete transformation! She was so enthusiastic about what she had learned and her accomplishments on the court. Every day thereafter it just got better. The skills she learned built upon themselves daily. You've got a great program and it's refreshing to see an instructor weave the character component into the game along with the skills/drills. To do all that and make it fun is no easy task I'm sure, so thank you for your dedication, hard work and commitment to the kids. Friday was not only her last day of camp but also our last day in Chicago. We moved to St. Louis the next day but your camp was so good we'll come back next year for it. - Michelle Francisco

PLAY HARD HOOPS EDUCATION BASKETBALL CAMPS - 19 YEARS

The summer of 2017 will be the 19th year of Hoops Education BasketbalL Camps, which began in the summer of 1999. Hoops Education Basketball Camps or Clinics have been run in seven different states: Illinois, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, California, New York, and New Jersey.

The Hoops Education formula for success was built on teaching basketball fundamentals and team oriented play while creating a positive atmosphere where boys and girls will have the freedom to communicate, play competitively, learn, and most importantly, to have fun. The five words that define Hoops Education are Enthusiasm, Teamwork, Attitude, Character and Gratitude.

Hoops Education programs are designed to grab and keep the attention of both young boys and girls. The program is structured and disciplined, but its main focus is to provide a positive experience for each participant and an environment where players can learn, improve and have fun.

What Former Campers Say About Hoops Education:

“My son had played only a very short season with his school, only to find he couldn’t keep up with the play, and was feeling very inferior about his athletic ability. After a week at your camp, he came out of it with a teamwork award, a citizenship award, an absolute LOVE for basketball, but most importantly confidence in himself. Your no tolerance policy for bad sportsmanship allowed my children to feel free to try anything and work hard with no fear of teasing or nasty comment.”

“I was not only learning basketball, but I was learning lessons of life as well, like respect others who aren’t as good at something as you are, be a gracious loser, and that you don’t have to be on the court to be in the game. Even though I probably won’t play high school basketball, I’d still love to come to any camp that you may set up in Chicago.”
